Kakatiya Cements Sugar & Industries Ltd reported a net loss of Rs 2.24 crore in the quarter ended September 30, compared with a profit of Rs 5.12 crore in the same period last year. Sales income fell 58.44 per cent to Rs 14.91 crore from Rs 35.88 crore. Segment-wise results show that only the power segment was in profit. Cement contributed 66 per cent to the total sales, while power contributed 31 per cent and sugar the rest.
