Doha Brokerage in pact with Bunge

Kochi, Nov. 11 Doha Brokerage & Financial Services Ltd, associate of Doha Bank, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bunge Investment Management Ltd (Bunge) through its affiliate company Ecoinvest Carbon SA (Ecoinvest).

The MoU was signed for three pronged areas – carbon emissions risk management services, carbon emissions advisory services and carbon emission credit origination services in the Indian and West Asian markets.

DBFS is a brokerage institution having a pre-eminent position in West Asian and Indian markets and Ecoinvest is a world renowned player, having extensive experience and technical expertise in the development of projects intended to receive credits for reductions of carbon emissions of greenhouse gases

Mr R. Seetharaman, Chairman, DBFS, said the three-fold service offerings through Ecoinvest will go a long way in development of West Asian and Indian markets, and, will definitely boost the ongoing environmental friendly initiatives currently being undertaken in these regions.

Mr Alfred, CEO of Ecoinvest, said that he was happy to have DBFS, one of the leading regional players as a strategic alliance partner.
